Extended Warranty past 100K
Family 07 e320 bluetec is about to run out of its mercedes 100k extended warranty.
Looking to get one for another 50/60k from a third party, as mercedes wont sell me another one.
What are your experiences with specific brands?
If I do get one, it will be a bumper to bumper with gaskets and seals covered.
I called fidelity, and they gave me a quote for 4400 form peoples vehicle protection.
I spoke with my independent shop, and they gave me a few pointers on things to ask the agents. Such as new vs rebuilt parts, genuine mercedes parts, labor coverage, and how the shop gets payed.
Any specific experiences with good brands? I know extended warranties are a form of insurance per say, but the car had been in for issues far more than one would like, and it has started shifting funny, and I know the 7g transmission are starting to have valve body issues, 1100 do fix, and my mother is worried about the trans as a whole, she is the main driver.
