Just pondering, what happens down the road:
When noone wants to own a used MB car that is out of warranty, because of ASTRONOMICAL & PROHIBITIVE repair cost.
Mercedes Benz will probably start laying off some of their mechanics (hopefully) and they (the mechanics) will start openning new MB only shops to repair these out of warranty cars (like mine) for a fraction of the cost (like my friend does). He owns MBZ Motors of Winnetka and banks, and I mean seriously BANKS!!!

2002 CLK 55 AMG Coupe ;)
To compound the problem - MB controls the price of the PARTS at.

While most mechanics are component PART replacers, the cost of the parts is major component of the total repair bill.

These MB parts, on future repair bills still will still be astronomical, because MB want to sell new cars and therefore the cost of their parts...

Perhaps we are getting closer to disposable automobiles in a decade or so?

Some say, the time is just around the corner.

2002 MB E55 AMG
Affalterbach flat emblem

I still like this one, although I've thought about the star removal-fill the hole option.

The logo looks like a dog's breakfast:

It has a tree, apples and a crankshaft!

Redesign is highly recommended!
