1993 500 SEC...what am i getting myself into?
have the opportunity to purchase a 1993 500 SEC with 90k miles at a very reasonable price...but i am very worried about maintenance costs...
can some of you shed some light on what i am getting myself into with this car...previous owner has maintenance records up to 40k miles and from what i can tell the car runs fine...
any help is greatly appreciated...thank you in advance...

You are getting yourself into one fine automobile. I've never owned one but have heard/read stories about high maintenance costs. Find a good independent mechanic and expect to pay. If you can do any maintenance yourself you can keep it free of little problems. However, if the car has gone 50K miles with no routine (oil/filters etc.) maintenance then I'd pass it up.
