in need of keys
so i need a spare key do i have to get it from a dealer? or can i get it from ebay and reprogram it

The only way as everyone would say is to go the dealer to order one. Even if you get one from ebay, they will not reprogram it for you.

you'll likely need to provide ID such as drivers license, car registration etc here
in the US when you go to your dealer for the key replacement.

if it is a newer electronic key, be sure to inform them that you need a SPARE
(added) key. you want to avoid being issued a REPLACEMENT key which could
render any existing Smartkey inoperative

I have the green key for my car. Can I reprogram a used FOB that's not for my car (bought off ebay)?
