Purchased a CPO '09 E550 and have an issue with the center console, only on driver's side getting very hot while driving-typically on drives of 30 min+. The console gets hot all the way to the back seat behind driver's side to the floor board, almost too hot to touch. Makes for a very warm ride as driver's seat heats up (and heater is off) and this happens no matter if heat, air or a/c in, so do not think related to ventilation system. Has to be so etching under car, like exhaust heat shield or something being defective? It's at the dealer now and they are busy trying to "recreate" the issue... Any ideas or past experiences would be appreciated.
