I'm doing a bit of car shopping and absolutely fell in love with the SL500 and SL55, but unfortunately none of them come in manual transmission. I'm looking for a manual roadster, 2 door and hard top convertible (preferably).

I'm looking in the used market, under 35-40k price tag.

I don't know too much about all of the models, so I'm wondering if I can get some help from you folks. What do you recommend which is similar in terms of appearance, performance and price of the SL500/55? Which Mercedes models are the ones in the header of this website (white and red cars)?
