I have a 07 E350 and just installed a DVD player from a 04 E55. I get a message No DVD Please insert a Nav-DVD (car trunk). Am I missing something, do I need anything (parts) to get this to work.

Do you mean you got the head unit from an 04 E55? Depending on the market area, the head unit (COMAND) plays DVDs. Or did you get the Navi processor to the trunk? If you already have the Navi processor, then the DVD slot must be gone, a typical problem with these units. I assume you do have a Navi DVD inserted to the trunk unit.
