2013 E350 wagon
AM Antenna
Im sorry if this is not the correct place to ask this... I have a 2013 E350 wagon. It went in to Keeler Motors in Albany,NY to have the rear bumper replaced. When it came out of the body shop, the AM radio does not pick up any stations more than 20 miles away and it is now all static. Even a 50,000 watt station I can not pick up. It makes no difference if car is on or not. The FM works great.
The body shop said there is a amplifier over the rear wheel well but they did not go near that. Dealer says AM is fine according to their tests. Help... I am not trying to blame anyone, just want the AM to work. Can I purchase a after market external antenna for this vehicle ? Cruthcfield, says they do not have one.. if there is one by another mfg, is it something I can install ?
