I called yesterday within my car because I had a question about my navigation and they said they were updating and would call me back with the info I requested. I decided I would go online to check out my mbrace account, and I haven't been able to visit Online Tools at mbrace.mbusa.com for the past two days.

Yes it is down!! I also called and the representative indicated that they were in the middle of an upgrade.
The Mbrace.mbusa.com site is down, the mbrace application does not accepts any login attempt.
I got a message on the owners online site (mbrace section) indicating that my mbrace2 unit will be updated over-the-air soon.
I hope they are adding all the cool features they promised a year ago.

Totally down! Called yesterday, was given the same "upgrade" spiel, which was not accurate and had little to do with reality. As I learned today through a dealer, there is a major Verizon outage (Verizon is the provider, they bought Hughes Telematics last year ... was alarmed already then), and mbrace team cannot work it out with the Verizon partners. So, it is a major service failure, not an upgrade. The dealers are having trouble activating units, and some people are getting "SOS mbrace Service Not Activated" and "SOS mbrace not functional" messages. My information, service, and SOS buttons do not work.
