Is there a break in period on a new GL 450 or can I pick it up and begin a coast-to-coast trip?

I believe the recommendation is to take it easy during the first 1k miles, don't do WOT starts. vary the speed (both engine and vehicle). (i.e. don't set cruise at 75 and stay there for 500 miles straight).

That sounds like good advise...
