Hi, I'm new to mbworld, and I'm trying to decide between a 2008 CL63 and a 2012 C63. This will be a daily driver, but won't see more then 50 miles a week. It will also be my first benz. I haven't driven either one yet, but have logged quite a few miles in my parents C300. Are there more drawbacks to one versus the other? How about insurance-wise? Maintenance?

Any feedback would be much appreciated!

The only opinion that counts is the one paying for it whether it be your or your parents, but newer is usually better since your are worried about maintenance.

I wish my parents were paying for it! I know both cars will have expensive upkeep, but I'm worried about surprises that could pop up with a 2008 CL63 that has, say, 40k+ miles on it.
