Hello,
I'm looking to purchase a car this month. I am interested in both the Infiniti and E350, I have never drove a G37, but I have test drove a 2006 E350 and I loved it. What I'm looking for in a car would be nice smooth ride, speed, good audio system, price, and the luxury features.
If you guys can help me out that would be awesome, kind of stuck here since they both have their pros and cons
Best Regards,
SwiftV

Are you looking at the G37 coupe or sedan?
I have an 07 E63 so it is a bit more car than an E350, but I have also driven a G37 sedan many times. My wife has had QX56's since they came out a decade ago, and whenever it is being serviced the loaner car is always a G37 (or G35) sedan, so I've driven one for about a month total out of the last decade.
I have to say I haven't been impressed. I honestly never found the car to be much nicer than a loaded Altima or Maxima. In fact, I actually prefer the new Altima.
It just never seemed that special. And one thing I hated, which I noticed in EVERY G35/37 I've driven over the years, is the damn brakes are so grabby. I mean like really noticeable grabby. I don't mean powerful either, my E63 AMG brakes are some of the most powerful brakes on a production car, period, but they have great feel and are never grabby or unsmooth.
Definitely do a few test drives.
Try Carmax for test drives. They usually have a good selection of different makes. I've found them to be not too high pressure either.

Yeah, it's the G37 Sedan Journey, I might get a 2009 E350 before the redesign. Any other opinions?

I had a E350 coupe 2012. Great sport luxury car. The E350 2011-13 is a great looking car. G37 is ordinary in my opinion.Originally Posted by SwiftV
