Okay, so I'm looking into trading in my current ride for a faster convertible. SL500 caught my eye. My price range is under $30,000 and I'm thinking like a 95 or 96 SL500. Is there anything that I should look for (problems, or packages etc.) when looking at older SLs. Also are these pretty reliable, I'll be using it as a daily driver so reliability is key. Someone told me I should buy an extended warrenty with one which I completely agree with but is there anything else I should know about the SL before I seriously start shopping for one? For $30k get an Acura.
