Car won't crank after replacing fuel pump

I have a 2006 CLS 500. The fuel pump was bad, and I replaced the pump and sending unit. The new pump and the sending unit are working fine, but the car won't crank now.

The dealer said the car should start right up, but I'm thinking I need to prime the pump or the fuels system, but I don't know how to do so.

Does anyone know how to prime the fuel system, or what could be the problem at this point. The relay and fuses are all good.
