Dealer privacy
wondering if there is any insight into dealer privacy practices.
I've been negotiating a GL350 for the past 2 weeks and have remained about $500 apart. This morning the sales agent contacted me and said he was working with his GM to close the deal and needed my home address. About 2 hours later I got a email from the sales manager saying their previous deal was the best they could do, take it or leave it. This seems odd to me and makes me wonder what they were doing with my address to determine if they could make a better deal.
