USA vs Germany Production Quality
Since 1979, I've owned 9 new MB's. 5 SL's, 1 CL, 2 E's and 1 S. All have been pretty wonderful--especially my 2013 S550--and all were German made. I am now considering a new ML350BTC, but I read on this & other sites of a huge number of problems. Most problems are minor, but THOSE are the types of problems that can drive a person crazy. Things like rattles, squeaks, rear lids that won't open or close properly, suspension parts not securely tightened, etc. So, I must ask the question here: do you folks feel that the vehicles made in the USA are of the same quality as those made in Germany, and please be specific and cite examples if you can. Even though this topic has probably been brought up before, I think it needs to be discussed here again, now that we are into 2014 production.
