will this make a difference in selling price for used MB?
I'm in the unenviable position of having to sell my '84 500SL in Chicago in the month of December or January.
Until about 3 years ago, it was a Texas-only car. It's been garage-kept and rarely driven here...certainly never seen snow, sleet or ice, nor road salt.
I'm considering driving the car back down to Texas to sell it there. Anyone think there's a chance I'd get more $$ for it in TX?
I'd say it's only a "fair" condition car.
Any thoughts from the collective would be appreciated!

Selling location?
It could make a difference but you can easily check yourself. Kelley Blue Book asks for location and changes prices accordingly. Also, check out Autotrader and see what the going selling prices are for similar make/model/miles cars are in the different places.
