From what I understand it's two German last names and a geographic locality...anyone know the story/specifics?

Actually, these very same guys took a hot rod version of an old 450SEL to Spain (cool mountain twisties and desert plains on the drive from Germany) and in Barcelona the first person to walk up to the car said, Amigos....Macho Grande!
