I understand these are some kind of software for diagnostics. But can someone clarify the difference between these 3?

These are all part of the Mercedes diagnosis system.

Star=MB STAR Diagnostic System
Xentry=newer diagnostic software
DAS=automatically Diagnosis Assistance System, older diagnostic software

some basic sw that all Star tools have

WIS.net=Workshop Information System, view the wiring diagram in a car,component location diagram and maintenance method
EPC.net =Electronic Parts Catalog
ST Finder=Part location finder
STAR Utilities= the movement management system and self-test
