Chicago Exhaust Shop recommendations
So here is the question. I recently just purchased a Magnaflow stainless steel x pipe for an install on my 2012 c300 4matic sport. There are two things i would like to know:
1) Should it be installed closer to the cats (AKA front) or closer to the rear of the car, I have heard it could possibly be detrimental to the car if installed closer to the cats, thoughts? obviously depending on where it is installed it will probably achieve a different sound as well.
2) Where should I go to get some work like this done? right now a shop called Velasquez & Sons Mufflers seems to have a ton of good reviews off Yelp (4.5/5 from 149 reviews), they are 2845 W. Belmont in Chicago and quoted me $120 to do the job over the phone.
