Taxes: Clean-Fuel deduction?? (C coupe)
"C320 Sedan, Sport Sedan and Sport Wagon models with rear-wheel drive plus the optional automatic transmission are Flexible Fuel Vehicles and can operate on premium unleaded gasoline (91 pump octane), ethanol (E85), or a blend of E85 and premium gasoline"
I don't understand what they did to the V6 in the C320 coupe to mess this up...did they? [EDIT: I checked the 2004 onlin brochure... it doesn't draw the distinction based on coupe/sedan: 240 and 320, auto, RWD = clean fuel. Hmm...]
Anyone have any experience with this? My MB sticker doesn't mention anything about it. I don't think my title or bill of sale do either. TurboTax only lets you claim the amount attributable to the clean fuel equipment (up to $2000). To me that implies someone was probably supposed to give me a dollar amount somewhere.
Any guidance? Anyone ever gotten this deduction? Where did you find the proper amount?
