Looking for some opinions on which model Mercedes to get.
I'm planning on getting a car next year for college, I'm spending 20k and my grandparents are matching 20k so that gives me a 40k budget. I am looking at different cars that I may want and Mercedes is the one I'd like to get the most because a few family members have them and some friends and I really like them but I may get something else if I find a better deal that suits me better.
Anyway I want to get a CPO with under 20k miles on it and I'm unsure which model to get, the 3 I'm looking at are 2014-2015 E class, 2015 C300, or a 2012ish C63 AMG. I do LOVE performance cars but I've heard the C63 can be a little too powerful for a daily driver and also the fuel economy sucks, also I'm not sure how long the V8 would last compared to the I4 on the C300 or the V6 on the E350. With the E class I'd get a bunch of safety features such as distronic, parktronic, surround view camera and various others as well as the large size for my two dogs but at the same time it almost seems like a car for people in their 30s and 40s due to the soft ride and low power, and the interior hasn't changed much since 2010. The benefit I see of getting a 2015 C class is the new redesigned interior and added features in the 2015 redesign, especially the Burmeister audio for a decent price, but I'm not sure how smooth the ride/driving mechanics are compared to the E class.
Anyways those are the pros and cons that I can see just from seeing friends cars and watching a ton of youtube reviews, and I'd love to hear what you guys think of these models to help me with my decisionc
