CLK500
Any help is greatly appreciated!! :)

hey everyone, New to the MBWorld forms.. I have been doing some serious research for very long now and still cant figure out what to do.. any help would be greatly appreciated!!!

So.. I have a 04 CLK 500, absolutely love the car! wanted some more sound so after doing some research I deleted the suit case of a muffler.. love the sound.. however the drone with the 3" piping in place is quite louder then I expected.. I currently have both primary and secondary cats and stock resonator still installed. I recently have noticed I have a rattle noise coming from the car which I have figured out is one of the two secondary cats..

now my dilemma is.. do I delete the secondary cats keep the resonator and try it without a muffler still? or do I buy high flow cats (so I don't loose the back pressure I've been reading about) swamp them and continue the no muffler?

I read something about someone replacing secondary cats with glass packs? ive also heard of them running a glass pack replacing the OEM muffler..

im lost with what to do.. again any help from any of you vets would be greatly appreciated!!
