Worldwide Warranty Void on Exported Vehicles
Bad news for the China.
Mercedes-Benz USA, will void the Worldwide Warranty for vehicles found to have been exported outside the United States or its territories. The only exception is for vehicles taken to Canada or Mexico on a temporary basis, such as for vacation purposes, where warranty service may be requested from an authorized Mercedes-Benz Center.
This change will be reflected in the warranty booklet for MBUSA vehicles beginning with model year 2017.

Once again more HS for the fire----However that won't fix the China problem---the issue is free trade and a world wide quest to drive luxury cars in countries with very high new and used car tarrifs
As an example drive the back roads of Miami and Tampa and you see all sorts of new and used MB's being put into containers for shipment to South America.
The SA dealers have complained for years about lost sales to cars sold in Amerika winding up in SA---------the world keeps going round and aroun
Fix the problem----don't make it bigger, plus in the hall ways of Stuttgart they see year to year sales increases---who wants less sales!!
