Hey guys, one year ago I had my transmission upgraded by Weistec, 6 months later it gave in, wouldn't select gears. I contacted Weistec and after much discussion and approximately 3 months later I was told that the seals was a problem and that they needed to upgraded to the generation 2 that was now available. However I will have to send the transmission back from South Africa at my own cost. Without much choice I sent it back to Weistec at a cost to myself of $2 500.00. I received my transmission back in December 2015. The transmission was installed by the local Mercedes Benz dealer. All went well for another 6 months until June of this year when the transmission again stopped engaging gears. I have been for the past 2 weeks trying to call Anthoney at Weistec, sending emails to no response. I am sometimes kept holding on the line for over 15 minutes. It seems Anthoney is never available. I left numerous messages for him to call me back, still no response.
Who would be the best person to talk to at Weistec? I even sent Shaun the Ops Manager and email. Didn't get a response as yet.
I'm so pissed, I expected so much more from Weistec....
