Memory seat confusion
I don't seem to be able to work the seat memory function on the wifey's 2014 ML350. When i get in and press the nbr2 position button, I have to hold it in for the seat to change positions. It goes all the way back, then down, and then back up to my position. Our other cars just went from one position to the other without this cycling down and back. If I just touch the button and let go, the seat moves a bit in the down and back cycle. What am I doing wrong? Thanks.

I noticed the same thing in my '08 E350 and at first I thought there may have been a problem with the memory function, but after checking the manual it seems like this is normal operation. The instructions in the W211 manual state to hold the memory button until the seat and steering wheel finish moving. My previous Chrysler would change between memory positions with a quick push of the button so I was confused at first.
