Steering Wheel Clunk on 2016 C300
I have a new C300 that consistently makes a faint clunking sound when it goes into a preset position after starting my car. I am going to take it to the dealer service dept but not sure they will be able to figure out the problem.
I say this because I had the same problem intermittently with my GLK350 that I had prior to this car. The service dept was never able to find the problem.
It is loudest after the car has been sitting all night. It gets fainter as the day goes on. The steering wheel doesn't make any other noises, just when it goes into position.
Anyone one else have this problem? If so, did the service dept find the problem?
