Odd registration history on a 2015 S-Coupe ?

Odd registration history on a 2015 S-Coupe ?
I am looking at upgrading my now old '05 CL55. I have found an S550 Coupe where the carfax shows the car was sold in Calif then registered in Illinois, followed by a registration in the UK, then again in Illinois. Now a 3rd party lot is selling the car.

So I'm wondering why would someone do all that, all in the last 20 or so months? Would a change to the emissions have to occur? What would be the other possible issues with this low-mileage car?

I would appreciate any insight anyone here has.

Thanks Plutoe, but I must be thick-headed. The different registrations meaning the car has been all over, what in particular makes that a bad car?

Also I don't grok the XDOS..... Help, please?

Thanks! So could be no issues with the wide ranging registrations. But getting back to your original reply you stated "find another car". So why is it I should find another car?
