The Cold weather is here, below freezing overnight. My battery , is well insulated being under the rear seats but is over 8 years old. I have noticed a difference starting it .If i was to leave the car for a week or 2 in these temperatures, without driving it, would the battery power decrease on a sliding scale , i.e. does the cold weather drain the battery to a worsening state or would it start OK if i waited till , say midday, when the temperatures are a bit milder.!
