Buying a Low Mileage CPO Mercedes
I am beginning to consider a low milage CPO from a dealer. Is there any way to know if such a car was a dealership "Loaner" vehicle previously? Is a Dealer required to disclose that or is there any other way to find out?
Thanks

Normally a loaner vehicle has 7k-10k miles, current or previous year and very high probability its a CPO and is listed by a Mercedes dealer it is more or less a loaner vehicle.
You can call around your Merc dealerships to let you know about upcoming loaner vehicles.
Use cargurus to find out how old the listing is.
Check for the manufacturing date and also warranty start date.

One way would be to look closely at the Carfax. It should tell you where the car was first registered and if it strayed far from home. Here is a link to a 3k miles GLE in Hou. Carfax shows it always stayed at the dealership. 3k miles in 12 months. Conclusion? Loaner.....
