Sos to track stolen car?
Hi all, my 2015 cla was stolen in warrington whilst i was in the gym on thursday night. No joy with police yet. My bank card was tried in slough some 3.5 hours away the next day but the warrington police still haven't rung slough police to request a local officer goes to the location and requests cctv. They may be able to identify the thief and potentially the car, albeit with fake plates no doubt by now. I don't have a tracker installed but I was wondering can the vehicle be tracked by mercedes using the sos emergency feature? This alerts them to the cars location as i understand it? I have also read that only the police can request this to be done by mercedes as they need to confirm the vehicle is actually reported stolen. Any help/ guidance greatly appreciated.

I have called mercedes and asked about tracker, no joy. Only just learnt about sos emergency button so this is far as i have got. I know i had that button above the rear view mirror. They stole my keys, wallet was hidden in centre console.
