I didn't get the answer as to why is the inline 6 better than the V6? Can someone explain please. What is that the inline 6 configuration does better than the V6 and why? Thanks.

Besides the fact that they sound better, and are often less expensive to produce (less moving parts) they are smoother with a natural balance to them. This means everything else in the noise vibration and harshness realm of car design is easier.
