vin does not match car model
searched for vin of a car i want to buy but the vin search results do not match the car model. could you help plz

could it be a stolen car? i verified all the vin locations on the vehicle and they are all the same but the search results show that the vehicle is a 3.5L V6 when the actual car is a 5.5L V8. what could be the issue here? could someone help plz. the car is a mercedes.
is there any way i can verify the engine number online?
