W212 E350 Sunroof
Hi,
I am having trouble with my sunroof. Leaving work a couple days ago, I decided to tilt open my sunroof and it did so, but it made a weird noise. When I decided to close it, it wouldn't but the motor seemed to be working; it was making noises.
How do I know if it's a motor problem or a bad gear? Is there an easy DIY way of fixing it? How much does Mercedes charge to fix it?

Out Of Control!!
The problem is you don't know until you open up the system--that's time (I.5hrs),then they say bla bla and you say button it up I'll think about it----who pays me for my time defining your problem--
There are loads of sun roof specialist around---visit one!
PS: without the documentation I don't think the job is not a DIY!
