Help with car choice (or another "which car should I get") thread!

Hello all, I'll keep this brief.
I have a certain amount i am prepared to spend on a car. Most likely a few models from the late 90's to the mid 00's

I will admit performance is a big part of this decision (i'm coming from a 79 300D)!

I would like advice on the performance of a few cars and your opinions of their build quality & power/handling etc.
I am looking at these cars at the moment with model & 0-60 & 1/4 mile numbers
Clk43 6.4 / 14.6
Clk55 4.9 / 13.2
c32 5.4 / 13.8
C43 5.7 / 14.2
E55 4.7 / 13.1 (w210)
E500 5.7 / 13.9

All these numbers are fairly even, do any of you out there have objections to the accuracy of these numbers? or find them way off the mark?
Also as far as performance, would the C43 or W210 e55 have any advantage over the W211 version of the e500?
will they handle better because of the AMG goodies or is the later car Refined beyond the scope of the earlier Amg car?
Do any of these stand out to you as a money pit or is there one that is more robust than the others?
Thank you very much for your responses,
Harry
