pick-up checklist?

pick-up checklist?
Excited to pick up my family's vehicle this coming weekend or Monday. Am looking forward to a shiny and fully function E500 4Matic.
I have been looking around the net for things that I should examine for, before taking possession of the car.
I have found such a check list at:

I will be the one responsible for running the basic tests and checks and was wondering if any repeat customers had any words of advice for a smooth but thorough final walkthrough.
I have the following features and will make sure
to test most of them:
- Parktronic
- Keyless Go
- Drive Dynamic Seats (Heated and Cooling)
- Heated Steering Wheel
- Active-Cornering Bi-Xenon's
- CD Changer, Aux Input, FM/AM Radio
- NAV GPS / TeleAid
- Retracting Rear Sunshade
- Various and sundry standard items: 4 Zone Climate Control, Air Suspension, Rear headrests
Also , the dealer had suggested paying in full before the car even arrives. What are your views on this? I would think some may be wary of signing anything before running through all the equipment.
Advice?
PS, Am very glad that the car will be using a Green Massachusetts License plate that does not require the use of a front license plate. Yes!
