I'm trying to decide whether to add Head Up Display to my build, but I'm wondering if wearing polarized sunglasses blocks it out? I have driven a BMW before that had head up display but when I was wearing my sunglasses you are unable to see it, and I'm wondering if it is the same situation with the Mercedes head up display? If so, that is pretty inconvenient.

Polarized glasses do not present a problem at all.

Maybe some glasses are more polarized than others. But my polarized glasses certainly present a problem on my 2015 C300 4Matic Luxury. My glasses are the well-known RayBan aviators. If I just want to check my cruise control setting, I can tilt my head to the right about 40 degrees to read the display. But if I am using the display for navigation, I pretty much have to switch to non-polarized glasses. I find the HUD is still a valuable option.
