thats nice. But dont think mercedes would be making all these models hehe. Many of these numbers dont really sound good hehe. like R68 hm..

possibly because they are still deciding which engine to put in, they want to create speculation, or for very far future models which may be heavier and faster or whatever, so that other maufacturers dont take them. They probably think, better safe than sorry, so any slight possibility is registered.

Some of those models may be euro-spec. ALso, AMG may not have decided which engine to use yet.
They are getting ready to introduce their new "Sports Tourer" (read Minivan/SUV/station wagen combo) late this year. Will this be the GL?

I would guess that perhaps GL is a naming system for the new G-Class to match the current M-Class naming (e.g. ML500 rather than M500)....
