I just leased a new AMG C43 and opted for a pre-paid lease to save some finance costs, not have to hassle with monthly payments, and for a generally better deal. Am concerned now that the one thing I did not consider is total loss or theft of the vehicle early in the lease. Is it possible to purchase additional GAP coverage to cover the amount of lost down-payment if the car is a complete loss? Obviously this is of greater concern early in the lease and becomes less so with each passing month (it's a three year lease.)
