Question I had a 2014 e350 coupe Amg sport packet the whole nine. Totaled out , thanks Geico! I’m considering purchasing a Cabriolet 2014 low miles One owner pristine condition! My question is why does the rotors look rusty!
Dealer explanation: Oh from when it rained and the car hasn’t been driven!
I call BS i Work from Home and have a secondary vehicle so my e350 could sit for weeks without being driven and my rotors aren’t rusty! Someone please enlighten me!

The dealer is correct in this case. What you have to worry about is grooves on the rotors, or a lip (on the outer edge of the rotor). That usually indicates wear. That rust will go away after you apply the brakes a couple of times.

Actually the dealer is correct, i have several Mercedes outside my home that i almost dont drive, and they get rusted quickly if they're outside the garage enough, or even faster if it rain or weather gets wet. it wil go away when you drive it.
I second that, I work for a dealer and half the cars on our lot have rusty rotors from sitting around. That is a fair explanation and nothing to worry about. After a short drive they'd look clean.
