Can i replace my transmission for a used one?
Hi, i have an CLS500 2006 AMG pkg, beside some other models but this particular car its been flaring gears and slipping a litte during cold mornings, but once warmed no sippage at all just flaring when i drive it grandma slow, so mi question is can i replace the tranmission for a used one? it is possible? because i know those transmissions are maried to ECU but its posible tu buy a wrecked CLS500 of same year and replace my transmission and use my original TCU and my valve body on the donor transmission ?
I used vindecoderz.com, and those are suposedly the transmissions numbers, the first 8 digit match good but the resting 6 no, so that why im reluctant to change it and then my car will not start. Does the numbers just have to match the first 6 digits like 722901, or has to be the whole 14 numbers?

I got another question sir, this numbers match almost perfecly, but what about if i decide to buy another transmission, can you show me how to pick up compatible parts? i found verry low milleage 2007 E550 but it has a newer engine so the transmission number changes to 722904 01 095355
WDBUF72XX7B125183, it is the 7G too but is a newer model, and ill like to upgrade to a newer to avoid faulty parts of the first models.
