Keys?
The other day, I lost my very fancy key to my car. I still have the other key, but am interested in getting a second key to replace the lost one. I want another nice one, not just the regular key blanks that are available. Does anyone know how to get this? Thank you.

What model and year is your car? I guess it is a Mercedes.
Most modern MB keys (last 10-20 years) can not be duplicated by anyone. The blanks are not available to the public. You must submit the VIN to a dealership and wait for the key to be cut by MBUSA or whomever.

Yeah, you have to give the dealer the # you got on your card or VIN and the'll give you a key. I actually have a blank key but I don't think any shop can cut it beacuse of how it's cut compared to a regular key. I remember I lost the key and had to use the spare flat key.
