Mercedes M-class?
Hi,
I would like some advise. I currently own a 1998 S280, but due to a large family I need more seats. I am considering buying a M Class (with family pack), but have heard that they are not well made, especially the earlier ones (1998-2000).
Can some one please give me advise on these vehicles, as I dont know much about them.
Also which is the best model?. I will not be taking it off road.

i've had 2 ML's... an 00 ML430 and a 02 ML500 currently.
so far for me the vehicle has been pretty good. there
seems to be better build quality and reliability with
each model year. if you are looking to buy used i
would try to buy one still under warranty. years
02 and higher seem to have better reliability. for what
it's worth...when my lease is up in March of next year
i will most likely purchase anther ML500. the vehicle
is fast and powerful. plus it feels very solid and safe.
