What model should I build.
Hey guys I haven't been on here in a long time. I was looking to get some input on what model I should build out. I have been considering either a w201, w124, or R129. My grandparents currently have a 2000 sl 500 which is probably going to end up going to me down the road. I've thought about modifying it when I get my hands on it but i kind of want to keep it classic. I used to have a w202 which I loved and i love the boxy sort of look that the w201 and 124 have. The motor I am planning on using will either be an m103 or m104. If I built the 129 it would be getting a supercharger but kleemann wants so much for it I think I would rather go with a w201. I want to make 600hp at least from the inline six. This is going to be a somewhat long term project and the 201 would be getting an evo 2 body kit. I wanted to see if any of you had any thoughts on what direction I should take with my build. The only thing I haven't planned yet is the rear end. My big question is how much can a stock rear end handle, should I look into an aftermarket one, i haven't decided on weather i would want a 5 speed manual or if i should go with a mercedes automatic since they can handle so much power.
