I left my C43 AMG for the B service at a local dealer yesterday, MB North Miami, they took 24 hours to complete a 2 hour service. Horrible customer service from the service advisor BTW, anyhow, got the car back and while I was driving home I noticed damage to the leather in the steering wheel and also in the rubber mat of the cup holder (pictures below).
I called the dealer and the advisor was gone for the day, the service manager did not pick up the call, since it's almost closing time.
Damage was not there and it has a pattern, as noted on the pictures. Will try to get in touch with them tomorrow, but 100% sure that it's related to the computer that they use to update the software.
Anyone has more information about this? Recommendations on how to claim this?.
I'm really .
I appreciate any feedback and help.
First post on the forum, a lot of reading here, but no postings till today.
Thank you for your time.
I had a similar experience back in June, when they dented the metal "Mercedes-Benz" door sill plate and left black grease/scuff marks all over my Silk Beige rear seat mats. I took pictures on my phone when I got home and emailed them to my service adviser. He ordered a new door sill plate, which they have since installed; I'm still waiting on the floor mats.
