BMW owner coming over to Mercedes; looking for some advice...
Good day to you all... I’m planning to buy my first Mercedes next week for my college graduating daughter. I’m looking at a 2019 C300 4Matic sedan. She’s going to love the car, that I have no doubt.
Im very well versed in buying BMW’s over the years. I’m looking for advice on negotiating a price for my C300 4Matic sedan. I’m going to order the vehicle for her so she has it just the way my wife and I know she wIll like it. My area (Texas) has tons of RWD C300 sedans on dealer lots.
What is is the maximum price % I should be targeting for discount since I’m factory ordering an 4Matic. My location is saturated with RWD C300’s. Will factory ordering a 4Matic affect my ability to negotiate a lower price? Generally, I’m guessing dealers want you to buy vehicles off their lot just as with BMW.
I appreciate any suggestions and advice. My wife and I are very excited to be buying our first Mercedes.

If it helps for a guage, I ordered a 2018 E300 4matic and got 8% off MSRP with 2 dealerships Granted I knew the sales manager at one of them and to compete the other one was probably able to use that as leverage. A third dealership was still about 3k higher than those 2 offers.

make sure you understand what a 4matic IS and not just assuming its a 4WD based on your perception.
