06' R 500 Lift Gate Has to Closed By Hand ( Auto Button or FOB No Work )
Dear MBWord Members,
I have a problem that is driving me crazy! My lift gate will open fine with hand operation or FOB. It will not close using anything. I must physically swing it down to the latch. The latch does function and it also unlatches automatically and manually. You can hear the latch reset normally when commanded remotely by the FOB but, , no beep , or movement results. Lift Gate buttons light at night but do not activate the the door closing either......can anyone out there help me?
