Need information
Hey, This is Ron from Vancouver WA, I need some insight on a 1981 500 SLC . I need to find out what the value of the car is and
what would be a good place to sell the car. This is all original, one owner car with 65K miles.

Cargurus says around $8k-$15k USD. Sell it there or eBay or Craigslist. Or a local dealer.
Prices on cargurus are from dealers so you should expect to sell for 10%-20% less than what you see on that site.

I think from what information I have found the car is worth surprisingly a lot more than I thought. This is one of around 1330 that were built and one of less than 100 that were imported Stateside
and in un-restored condition with 65,000 miles.This particular car was imported around 1982 and has been kept inside all its life. I believe its a 1981 Mercedes-Benz 500 SLC (Homologation Coupe)
Any informatiom on this car or were to find information on this car would be greatly appreciated.
