2002 g500 bad windshield wiper motor
Hello all, This is the first time posting on this forum. I have a 2002 Mercedes Benz G500 and my windshield wipers stopped working. My buddy checked the wiper motor under the hood behind the firewall and the motor is completely broken. The cheapest I found the part for online is $530. Has anyone had this problem before? The original part number is 002 820 44 42. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I am facing exactly the same problem with my 2006, E350.
Did you find any cheap solution for your merc? I will appreciate any tips/guidance.
