I was driving my 2005 Mercedes c240 home the other day when all my lights dyed out so I coasted to the side of the road and turned my car off. I tried turning it on again but no luck. Got someone to jump me and my car started fine and I made it a mile up the road and it happened again. So I assumed it was the alternator. Brought it to the shope had that replaced and then would only turn over but no start. Then they replaced the battery and it still did the same thing. What is happening? Are there any fuses that would blow as a safety feature?
